How I work

From the first question to software that keeps working

A practical way of working for new software, existing Laravel and PHP systems, AI projects and hosting. Clear decisions, small steps and a delivery that remains manageable afterwards.

1. Explore

We start with the goal, users and current situation. For existing software I also review the code, infrastructure, data, risks and what already works well.

2. Structure

We make the scope, priorities and technical approach concrete. This creates a realistic first phase with visibility into dependencies, costs and decision points.

3. Build or improve

I work in understandable increments across backend, frontend, integrations, AI functionality or infrastructure. Feedback remains part of the process.

4. Test and deliver

A release includes testing, review, documentation and a clear deployment path. The handover should be understandable to the people who continue with it.

5. Operate and evolve

After launch, monitoring, updates, hosting, support and further improvements can be arranged. The product keeps matching real-world use.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about the process

Can you join an existing project?

Yes. I can join an existing team or project and start by understanding the context, codebase, infrastructure and priorities. First gain clarity, then improve deliberately.

Do you follow a fixed methodology?

The foundation stays consistent: understand, scope, build, test and operate. The delivery style can be agile, iterative or more plan-driven depending on the project.

What do I receive at the end of a project?

Alongside working software, you get clarity: documented decisions, relevant documentation, a handover and agreements for operations or next steps.
