A site that fits the event
The event site translates the atmosphere of Fast Fwd Fest into a clear online experience. Visitors can quickly see what is happening, when and where it takes place, and how to buy tickets.
Project detail
For Parkhof, I built a distinctive event site for Fast Fwd Fest: an evening of noise, punk, new energy and practical information for visitors.
A glimpse of the event site, its visual identity and the way visitors are guided to programme and background information.
The event site translates the atmosphere of Fast Fwd Fest into a clear online experience. Visitors can quickly see what is happening, when and where it takes place, and how to buy tickets.
The page uses strong typography, animation, texture and an event poster. It feels like part of the night itself rather than a standard information page.
I designed and built the event site with attention to the visitor flow, responsive behaviour, ticket linking, accessibility and a visual presentation that fits Parkhof and Fast Fwd Fest.
The site also points visitors to De slag om Parkhof, a book about the squatted Parkhof, its bands and visitors, and Alkmaar’s musical history.
I help organisations turn an event, product or campaign into a digital experience that stands out and guides visitors to the right information quickly.
